1926 - The 1926 festival parade included bands, floats, festival maids and queen, and thousands of spectators. Edgar Laseter grew the largest watermelon that year on his farm in the Rocky Mound community. All the festival events were filmed with a movie camera by Talbot Field, Sr. |
